How do I delete my account?

To delete your account:

1. Log in to your account
2. Go to Account Settings (accessible from your profile menu)
3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section
4. Click Delete Account
5. Confirm the deletion in the dialog

Note: This action is permanent and will delete all your tasks, focus history, streak data, rank progress, and profile information.

How is my data protected?

We take your privacy seriously. All your task data and profile information are stored securely in our database with proper access controls. Your personal data is encrypted and protected according to industry standards.

How does Focus Mode work?

Focus Mode helps you concentrate on one task at a time:

1. Select a task and tap the play button to enter Focus Mode
2. A full-screen countdown timer will appear for your task duration
3. Apps you selected as "blocked" will be shown with a lock overlay as a visual reminder
4. Complete the timer to earn points and maintain your streak

For best results, put your phone face-down and focus on your task until the timer ends.

How does the ranking system work?

FocusLock features a 10-tier ranking system that resets monthly:

• Earn 5 points per completed task
• Earn 25 bonus points per streak day (completing 8+ daily tasks)
• Earn 1 point per minute spent in Focus Mode

Progress through ranks: Rookie, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Elite, Master, Legend, and Champion.

How do streaks work?

Complete at least 8 tasks in a single day to maintain your daily streak. Consistent daily completion builds your streak counter and earns bonus points. Missing a day resets your current streak, but your longest streak is always recorded.

Can I use the app without creating an account?

No, an account is required to use FocusLock. Creating an account ensures your tasks, streaks, ranks, and focus history are saved securely and synced across sessions.

Sign up is free and only requires an email and password.
